Daniel is from Älvdalen, located a bit north of MAFI´s headquarters in Mora. In his CV there are several technical educations on a high level and many years of work experience, including CNC operator, programmer, technician, product developer and project management.
After working in Gothenburg, located on the Swedish west coast – where there usually never is any snow – he got homesick and lacked real winters; in his spare time, he likes skiing a lot.
”I got a tip that MAFI was looking for people. I met with MAFI CEO Pierre Bengtsson, and we were a perfect match,” he says with a smile.
Daniel regards the industry in which MAFI is active is interesting and exciting.
”I recently worked towards the pharmaceutical industry and with very tight tolerances,” he says. ”At MAFI we work with a bit rougher products and focus is much on strength.”
Initially, Daniel wants to learn MAFI’s products and in due time influence their development with the knowledge and experience he brings.
”I’m very excited to learn and to make a difference,” he says.
In addition to skiing, meaning downhill skiing, Daniel likes ice hockey, sports in general and fishing, both on the lake ices in the winter and fly fishing in the summer.[blockquote text=””I want to learn MAFI’s products and in due time influence
